A purse as a bridal accessoire. Step by step or DIY

When the theme for the celebration requires something more than a simple round posy approach, this design can offer ideas for structured and architecture construction with elements of delicacy. The mechanics are very simple, the construction is light to carry and the design is easy to adapt and accommodate for a stronger dominant of botanical materials.

Floral adhesive and hot glue
Decorative beads
Wire 16 gage
Boutonniere pins
Cork Sheet

Process:

On a piece of cork sheet draw triangles of next sizes – top widths – 3.5 in, bottom width 0.5 in, length is 8.5 in. Cut out 9 pieces using the blade knife.

At the top part of the seven triangles make the small hole for the wire come through; 2 more pieces need to be without the holes to be used as the covers.
Glue bottoms of the triangles together with hot glue.
Get the 16 gauge wire and the small beads to make an arch handle for the purse. On each end of the wire make a little hook to attach the handle to the main beaded wire.

Begin to assemble the purse construction. On another 16 gauge wire put larger beads and cork sheets alternatively following this pattern (from the right):

1st sheet – do not touch
2 sheet -> 4 beads -> 3 sheet ->
8 beads
4 beads ->5 sheet -> 4 beads ->6 sheet -> 4 beads ->7 sheet -> 4 beads ->8 sheet
The 9th sheet does not touch.

Please notice that between 3 and 4 sheets you need to make the double space for the flower part.

On each end of the wire make a flat circle, then glue together 1+2 sheets,
8+9 sheets converting the mechanics. You will get clean construction with no wires showing.
